Do you know what can really drive a mental healthcare professional crazy? When psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers have to deal with the billing for patient services. Their time is way too valuable to spend it on such frustrating mundane tasks. They can help so many more patients if this headache is outsourced to a service provider by working with behavioral health billing consultants who take care of everything.

The Value of Peace of Mind

One thing mental health care workers need to spend a bit more time on, is protecting their own peace of mind. Job burnout is common for mental health care workers. Many suffer from being over-stressed while at the same time neglecting to take care of themselves.

They might be forced to take some time off to recover from a physical illness. However, they may not notice that they are being worn down mentally because this can be an incremental process that makes its negative impact felt over time.

High Burnout Rates for Mental Healthcare Professionals

A study published in the medical journal, Administrative Policy Mental Health, called Burnout in Mental Health Services found that up to 67% of mental healthcare professionals suffer from job burnout. Most of those studied suffered from emotional exhaustion. Many suffered from depersonalization. They suffered from these problems even while also feeling the satisfaction of high personal accomplishment in their work.

Improved Billing Administration Provides Stress Relief

Sole practitioners and small clinics that specialize in treating behavior mental health problems can improve operations and workflow by working with behavioral health billing consultants to lighten the paperwork burden placed on the practitioners and the staff for the billing processes. This allows the staff to focus more on patient services. It also allows time to be taken off, by the mental health care providers, for personal recovery and de-stressing.

Even larger administrative groups are finding that dealing with job burnout is important. Job satisfaction increases when healthcare practitioners concentrate on patient care instead of having to deal with all the busy work that normally is part of the billing process.

The High Cost of Employee Burnout

Not only is an individual who is suffering from job burnout affected by the negative condition, but there is also a tendency for the organization to be negatively impacted as well. Employee turnover is higher when job satisfaction decreases. Absenteeism becomes more of a problem and the efficiency of an organization is challenged when there is a high level of job burnout experienced by the staff.

Managing a heavy caseload creates a high possibility of overworking that leads to fatigue, exhaustion and then burnout.

Summary

Organizations that embrace a strategy of outsourcing the administration of billing find that this provides significant relief for the mental healthcare staff. Cost-efficiencies are possible as well. It makes a stronger long-term strategy to improve billing processing by outsourcing the work, to take some pressure off of the staff to give them more time to spend with patients and less stress.

If you are going to be flooding your flood and drain system regularly I would recommend that you use clay pebbles and if you aren’t going to be flooding so much you should consider mixing coco with you clay pebbles as coco holds great water-holding abilities. You should always keep 5-10 cm of clay pebbles in the bottom of each pot to prevent too much water being held at the bottom of each pot.

Flood height is how high the water level is able to rise in each pot, the maximum height should be no higher than that of your growing media. Finally flood duration refers to how long each individual flood lasts, which should never be longer than 1-0 minutes no matter what you are growing.

To prevent issues from occurring cleaning tasks should include ensuring float switches in brain pots never become dirty or clogged, rinsing your reservoir between each refill and removing any sediment and debris which collects in the reservoir.

Basil or tulsi (Ocimum basilicus) is a perennial plant belonging to the Lamiaceae (mint) family. This bushy plant is a culinary herb with a strong, sweet, and aromatic smell with over 150 species. It is native to the regions of Africa and Southeast Asia. As established by the Greek philosopher and botanist Theophrastus, in the 3rd century BC, the name Basil is derived from the Greek “basilikos”, which means “herb worthy of a king.” The Romans considered it as the magical and sacred plant to be harvested only after following certain rituals, and to date, the plant is used for sacred and pharmaceutical purposes.

Basil contains flavonoids and many essential oils, apart from being a rich source of calcium, iron, folate, magnesium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Although it first originated in India, it has travelled the world because of its health benefits and medicinal values. Here, we list five reasons why basil is truly a boon to mankind.

It Is Helpful For Mental Alertness

Lack of clarity can be a huge struggle in everyday life. The revered herb does wonders to improve concentration and mental focus. The herb is often used to connect to the higher state of consciousness and helps tune in to the present moment with just its smell. It also helps eliminate the mental fog caused by the excessive intake of drugs. It is great aromatherapy to help protect memory and enhance the functions of the brain.

It Maintains Cardiovascular Health

Basil is a rich source of Vitamin A that helps protects epithelial cells. Beta-carotene helps reduce the conditions that cause asthma, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Basil is also rich in magnesium that helps the cardiovascular muscles to relax. It, ultimately, helps in maintaining the heart rhythm and improving blood flow.

It Provides Anti Inflammatory Effect

Basil contains volatile oils like eugenol, citronellol, and linalool, which helps block an enzyme in the body called cyclooxygenase (COX). It is one of the very few medicinal plants in nature that helps provide relief against rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel conditions, and other problems, just like other anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.

It Has Antibacterial Properties

Basil has strong antibacterial properties that stop the growth of unwanted bacteria, yeast, and mold due to the presence of volatile oils in basil like myrcene, linalool, limonene, cineole, estragole, eugenol, sabinene. According to the July 2003 issue of the Journal of Microbiology Methods, the volatile oils present in basil help fight dangerous bacteria called Staphylococcus, Enterococcus and Pseudomonas that can pose serious health issues and cause treatment difficulties by showing strong resistance to antibiotic drugs.

It Provides Skin & Hair Benefits

Basil is an excellent skin cleanser and purifier and a boon for oily skin people. The essential oils in basil have antimicrobial properties. Vitamin C found in basil oil helps boost skin cell metabolism. Also, the raw basil leaves help remove toxins from the blood, thereby preventing acne, scars, and blemishes by the process of internal cleansing. Not just this, basil also helps to relieve itching, wounds, and burns. On the other hand, basil also treats itchy and dry scalp and promotes hair growth, ultimately giving your hair a darker, more lustrous appeal.

Basil is a magic herb full of medicinal properties. It is a plant that can provide maximum benefits and can be put to daily use.

Generally, the UK property market is projected to do well in 2020. You might think that due to political uncertainties, and stagnating house prices/sales in some areas of the country, that it isn’t the best investment type to go with at the moment, but the opportunity for success is still very much apparent in some thriving cities and apartment types growing in demand.

Establishing and maintaining a positive investment strategy is something that many people aim to do, but when looking at property specifically, how do you make sure that you’re putting your money in the right areas and giving it the best chance at success? Well, for starters, here’s some more information on the importance of finding the right area.

Investing in the UK property market – Where do I start?

Investing in a general area that is enjoying growth will likely improve your chances of getting positive returns on your investment (and being successful with your venture), but there is a lot more that you could be doing.

Looking at the North West of the UK, for example, cities such as Manchester and Liverpool are among the most popular, but they might not provide a completely equal investment opportunity, at least at this current point in time. Assessing the market closely, property investment company RWinvest suggest that Liverpool is experiencing the same sort of economic growth and development boom that Manchester experienced a few years ago at this point, and while Manchester still remains one of the best investment prospects in the country, the opportunity to get in at an early point in Liverpool while the development is still thriving could possibly prove to be a more lucrative venture.

A closer look at Liverpool’s property market

Once you’ve chosen the city (or area) that you want to invest in around the UK, you then want to delve deeper, and look towards the specific streets, sectors and pockets of the city that might be the most popular among tenants, the most financially beneficial in terms of initial cost and rental yields, and the most exciting in terms of long term growth and promise.

These factors are particularly important to consider when thinking about the amount of different areas within your chosen city, as in a large city area such as London, for example, there are a wide variety of different prices, property styles and demand levels depending on where you’re looking. It goes without saying that it is beneficial to know the area that you are looking to invest in well, or at least to have done your research – or sought out advice from advisors/like-minded investors that have experience in the area you’re interested in.

As mentioned earlier, let’s take a specific look at Liverpool’s property market, and some of the most attractive prospects there.

Delving even deeper into this, Liverpool is one of the most promising areas of the country currently, with the top rental yield averages in the entire country according to Totally Money, and also six postcodes within the top 25, more than any other UK city. This means that all around the Liverpool city area, there are a ton of different places where the opportunity is there to make money on buy to let, but there are some places that are better to look towards than others. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the most lucrative postcode on the list is the largely central L1 postcode, which offers averages of 10%, the only postcode currently in the UK to reach this figure.

Highlighted hotspot – The Baltic Triangle

The Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, for example, just outside the city centre, is one of the best places that you can invest in currently. A thriving pocket of the city with a growing number of bars, restaurants and nightlife, the area was once deemed the ‘coolest place to live’ in the UK by the Times, and many young people are looking to live and work their as it develops. Now home to a range of innovative digital businesses, the section of the city contributes massively to Liverpool’s economy, and is even a short walk away from the city centre, meaning residents wouldn’t be missing out on living at the heart of the famous city. These sorts of features show not just why the area is popular with investors and tenants, but also why it is perhaps more of an exciting spot to go for than other parts of Liverpool, despite them also having investment promise.

Property Profiles – Notable spots throughout the UK

To summarise, here’s an interesting piece of information about a few of the most interesting investments spots in the UK currently, that you should be taking note of to be in with the best chances of lucrative returns.

Notable feature – Aside from the stellar rental yield averages in this northern powerhouse city, which when paired up with the affordable pricing can make for a faster-than-average investment strategy, Liverpool’s regeneration is worth paying attention to.

Rental yield averages – around 3.05%

Notable feature – While London might not be the best investment strategy for everyone, due to its struggling rental yields and steep prices, those with significant capital can snatch up a beautifully placed property in an undeniably desirable, landmark city area. High-end, luxurious properties might cost multiple times over what a student apartment might cost in the north, but there is a market for them.

Leeds

Average house price (according to Zoopla) – £226,676 – On the rise

Rental yield averages – Up to 7.92% in LS2 postcode
