Steps to apply polished plaster
- Priming is the first step to apply polished plaster. This step can be avoided if there is no unrestrained suction.
- If the first step is not used than a base coat is required. A base coat can be of different colour and effects.
- After applying the base coat, polished plasters are used. Apply polished plaster in one area at a time. Apply a thin coat of polished plaster.
- Additional polished plaster is used within an hour or two. It is used when a thin layer of polished plaster has been used.
- Once the step of applying additional plaster is completed start flattening the surface. After completion of flattening process add polish soap.
- Once the plaster has harden apply wax for additional protection.
