Whether you are replacing a leaking stock radiator or upgrading to an aluminum unit for competition work, purchasing a discounted replacement makes sense.

Radiators can be costly, and even a midsize sedan radiator can run over $300,00 and up. Purchasing directly from the manufacturer affords you the quality you need and a price point that makes upgrading more sensible.

Purchasing at a discounted radiators & shrouds does not compromise quality, and most aftermarket units will meet or exceed factory specifications.

Upgrading to Aluminum Saves in More than One Way

When you upgrade to an aluminum radiator and shroud assembly, you are saving in more than one way.

The first is the weight advantage-usually a 15 to 20 percent savings over a conventional copper and brass unit.

The next saving is in the improved performance and efficiency of your vehicle. Because Aluminum is a superior heat conductor, your vehicle will run cooler, deliver more power and use less fuel.

Average cost of a Replacement Radiator is over $300.00

That is just the starting point, and a replacement unit can easily be double that amount. Buying Factory Direct makes even more sense when you are working directly with the manufacturer.

You may discover that upgrading to an aluminum radiator and shroud is the same as staying with a standard copper and steel unit.

For comparison purposes, a comparison of the cost of a new radiator for a 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass with the 350 v8 showed some surprising results.

A stock copper and brass unit cost $381, while an aluminum equivalent was $190. That is nearly twice the cost.

Why is the cost so different? One factor is the cost of materials. Copper and brass prices have skyrocketed over the years. Also, the manufacturing process for aluminum   radiators is more automated and streamlined

The advantages of Upgrading to an Aluminum Radiator and Shroud Assembly.

Aluminum radiators can be used to replace conventional copper and brass units and guarantees a long service life. Aluminum radiators also have wider tubes, allowing more coolant to pass which increases efficiency, and the aluminum is a harder alloy which resists deformation under pressure.

In performance applications where high cooling system pressures are encountered this is a great advantage and prevent potential failure.

Most conventional radiators have an equivalent replacement in aluminum, and the cost is often less than a copper and brass original.

Even if your vehicle has a perfectly functioning radiator, there may be reasons to consider changing to an aluminum radiator.

  • Competition. if you drive your vehicle in competition events, the added cooling capacity will help your engine last longer.
  • Weight. The lower weight of aluminum, roughly 15 to 20 percent less than copper is an instant advantage.
  • Towing or driving in hot conditions is another reason to consider an upgrade. Aluminum not only provides better cooling but resists high cooling system pressures better than copper.

Does Buying Discounted Radiators & Shrouds Mean Inferior Quality?

Definitely not. While there are many manufacturers most follow ISO, International Organization for Standardization. This is an organization that audits manufacturing processes in most manufacturing industries to make sure that products meet their stated specs.

Buying a discounted radiator just means you are saving money, not sacrificing quality or durability.

Do you know what can really drive a mental healthcare professional crazy? When psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers have to deal with the billing for patient services. Their time is way too valuable to spend it on such frustrating mundane tasks. They can help so many more patients if this headache is outsourced to a service provider by working with behavioral health billing consultants who take care of everything.

The Value of Peace of Mind

One thing mental health care workers need to spend a bit more time on, is protecting their own peace of mind. Job burnout is common for mental health care workers. Many suffer from being over-stressed while at the same time neglecting to take care of themselves.

They might be forced to take some time off to recover from a physical illness. However, they may not notice that they are being worn down mentally because this can be an incremental process that makes its negative impact felt over time.

High Burnout Rates for Mental Healthcare Professionals

A study published in the medical journal, Administrative Policy Mental Health, called Burnout in Mental Health Services found that up to 67% of mental healthcare professionals suffer from job burnout. Most of those studied suffered from emotional exhaustion. Many suffered from depersonalization. They suffered from these problems even while also feeling the satisfaction of high personal accomplishment in their work.

Improved Billing Administration Provides Stress Relief

Sole practitioners and small clinics that specialize in treating behavior mental health problems can improve operations and workflow by working with behavioral health billing consultants to lighten the paperwork burden placed on the practitioners and the staff for the billing processes. This allows the staff to focus more on patient services. It also allows time to be taken off, by the mental health care providers, for personal recovery and de-stressing.

Even larger administrative groups are finding that dealing with job burnout is important. Job satisfaction increases when healthcare practitioners concentrate on patient care instead of having to deal with all the busy work that normally is part of the billing process.

The High Cost of Employee Burnout

Not only is an individual who is suffering from job burnout affected by the negative condition, but there is also a tendency for the organization to be negatively impacted as well. Employee turnover is higher when job satisfaction decreases. Absenteeism becomes more of a problem and the efficiency of an organization is challenged when there is a high level of job burnout experienced by the staff.

Managing a heavy caseload creates a high possibility of overworking that leads to fatigue, exhaustion and then burnout.

Summary

Organizations that embrace a strategy of outsourcing the administration of billing find that this provides significant relief for the mental healthcare staff. Cost-efficiencies are possible as well. It makes a stronger long-term strategy to improve billing processing by outsourcing the work, to take some pressure off of the staff to give them more time to spend with patients and less stress.

If you are a shooter living in Wales you will no doubt understand the importance of understanding and keeping up to date with the law surrounding shooting before you go out shooting with your Walther air rifles, and luckily for you we are here to provide you with information regarding a change that has now been made to general shooting licenses in Wales.

Natural Resources Wales has removed some key species from general licenses, including rooks, jays, collared doves, feral pigeon and Canada geese, now in effect. These changes came into effect on 7th October 2019.

Changes to GL001, GL002 and GL004

GL001 which was introduced in order to prevent serious damage to livestock and foodstuffs for livestock including crops, vegetables and fruits and also to prevent the spreading of diseases to livestock and foodstuff for livestock and since 7th October 2019 this will no longer include rook jay or collared dove.

GL002 which is in place to help preserve public health and to assist in preventing the spread the spread of disease. Since 7th October 2019 this no longer includes wood pigeon, collared dove, jackdaw rook, jay magpie or carrion crow.

When it comes to garden hose, buying is no longer as easy as it used to be, with many different style of garden hose now available, as well as different accessories and fittings for each. There has never been such as great and extensive collection on garden lay flat hose pipes than there currently is, and with this is mind today we are here to provide all with some much needed information, here to explain the basic qualities of each of the most popular type of garden hose fitting.

Whether you already have a quality garden hose, or you are still looking to purchase one, here are some of the important and very useful fitting that you might want to consider for your hose:

Taps and Faucets – Known as faucets in much of the word, including in America and Canada, Taps is the name given in the UK! Garden hose taps in England refer to the fitting which supplies water to sinks, baths and wash basins. Taps are often also outside, known as outside taps and gardens taps – generally only in place for the use of hose.

Connectors – Hose connectors are used to connect hoses to taps as tightly and securely as possible allowing for ease and efficiency when using garden hose. Hose connectors generally feature a threaded connection measured in British Standard Pipe (BSP) inches so that people can select connectors which fit their existing hose impeccably. Popular sizes of hose connector include ½”, ¾” and 1”. Both male and female connectors are available.

Joiners –  Joiners for garden hose enable gardeners to fit hose extenders, split the direction of water flor, repair hoses and more. They are generally compatible with most hose and can transform hose to make them more suitable for intended applications.

Water distributors – water distributors are used when people need to split their water supply to enable them to direct water to different areas and zones within their gardens. Water distributors aloe people to split their water supply through multiple hoses without losing pressure. Water distributors can now only allow for water to be split in two ways either – some distributors allow gardeners to distribute their water supply by up to six separate ways.

O rings and washers – People who own garden hose should ensure that they constantly have replacement o’rings and washers to fit their exact hose and connectors so that if they need changing they can do so quickly without having to face any garden hose downtime.

With more and more people in the UK now growing hydroponically using IWS flood and drain today we are here to provide some great tips for growers, with the ultimate intention of allowing as many readers as possible to get the absolute most out of their flood and drain systems.

Whether you are a flood and drain hydroponic grower or are looking to take up the innovative and impressive growing method, we advise that you continue reading for the greatest advice…

Flood & Drain Top Tips

Growing media – There are range of growing medias available to use, and it is really down to your own personal preference. You do however need to make sure that whichever growing media that you choose boards low-medium water holding capacity and high air filled porosity. If you are going to be flooding your flood and drain system regularly I would recommend that you use clay pebbles and if you aren’t going to be flooding so much you should consider mixing coco with you clay pebbles as coco holds great water-holding abilities. You should always keep 5-10 cm of clay pebbles in the bottom of each pot to prevent too much water being held at the bottom of each pot.

Pots – You should always make sure that you use the right pots for the plants that you are looking to grow. If you are even in doubt as to which pots, you should be using we highly recommend that you contact an online hydroponics equipment supplier such as Green Spirit Hydroponics whom are always delighted to provide the best hydroponics advice and guidance.

Flood cycles – In terms of flood cycles there are three aspects to consider, these are flood frequency, flood height and flood duration. Flood frequency refers to how often you flood your pots, and you should determine this by the growing media you are suing, your plant size, the climate and water demand. Flood height is how high the water level is able to rise in each pot, the maximum height should be no higher than that of your growing media. Finally flood duration refers to how long each individual flood lasts, which should never be longer than 1-0 minutes no matter what you are growing.

Nutrients – You must ensure that the strength of the nutrients that you are using matches your growing environments climate. A good tip is to lower your nutrient strength and flood your pots more regularly.

Cleaning – When growing in this way it is vital that you clean your entire growing system clean. To prevent issues from occurring cleaning tasks should include ensuring float switches in brain pots never become dirty or clogged, rinsing your reservoir between each refill and removing any sediment and debris which collects in the reservoir.
